School in the tradition of Anatoly Leman
Anatoly Ivanovich Leman (1859–1913) was an outstanding Russian violin maker, writer, and theorist, who left behind about two hundred instruments and a series of books that laid the foundations for modern string instrument making in Russia.
Our academy continues this line: an individual workbench, a personal model, a live workshop, and the master's word passed from hand to hand.
A true master of their craft shouldn't imitate anyone. Only when they're being themselves will they create what they're capable of.
